How to pay for a TanTaxi ride?

This is your opportunity to rate your TanTaxi driver and pay for your ride.If you don't rate and pay within 24 hours of your ride, then the ride cost is charged to your default payment method automatically and your driver won't be rated. You'll receive an email receipt once payment is submitted.


Using the payment screen

When your TanTaxi ride is over, you'll see the rating and payment screen. Your card will be charged if you have registered into our system, else you will pay in cash to the driver. To change your payment method, tap the credit/debit card icon in Payment bar then return to complete your payment.

Once you tap the Submit button on the rating and payment screen, both your payment and rating is submitted to our system. We'll email you a receipt with all the payment info.After a ride, you can choose to tip your driver with cash or through the TanTaxi app. Tips added in the app are charged to the card on file. Please note that 100% of tips go to drivers.


How to rate your driver?

This is your chance to tell us about your TanTaxi ride. Ratings begin at 1 and go up to 5 (5 is the best!).

Leave any feedback about your ride in the comment box. Your feedback is shown to drivers anonymously.


What to consider when rating?

Your rating should be based on your overall experience throughout the ride. When rating a ride, think about whether your driver was friendly, safe, a good navigator, and made you want to use TanTaxi again.Each rating you give will contribute to a driver’s overall standing with TanTaxi and help identify opportunities for improvement. In addition, passengers with low ratings may not have their ride requests accepted as often.5 stars means the ride was great and met TanTaxi standards. Anything lower than 5 indicates that you were unhappy with the ride, so we want to know why! Use the comment box in the app after the ride to leave feedback.
