Application Requirements for Drivers

• You must be at least 18 and own an iPhone or Android phone.
• As part of our approval process, you’ll undergo a security check, plus a national and county background check. This will require a NIDA ID number, in addition to a driver’s license that is at least 1 year old.
• Your car needs to have four external door handles and at least five total seat belts.
• Car must have a valid insurance cover.
• Car must be maximum 10 years old of age and in good condition.
• We’ll confirm all of this during the inspection exercise.

Registration Process

Applying to be a driver is quick and easy as long as you and your vehicle meet requirements.

• Start your application firstly by installing a TanTaxi driver app on your smartphone.
• Then, create a TanTaxi account through the app, enter your name, phone number, and email address, then submit all the info we need to ensure you meets the requirements.
• If you have a Promocode, enter it when creating an account.
• You will then be required to visit TanTaxi Office for vehicle inspection and document verification.
